Lion Forge Animation studio has expanded its leadership team while continuing to scale production and development activity in its third year, promoting two-time Emmy-winning animation director Saxton Moore to VP of Production, and hiring Neely Shamam to serve as VP of Development.
The studio announced a deal with Tuff Gong Collective, a joint venture between Universal Music Group (UMG) and NY Times bestselling author Cedella Marley, to develop and produce an animated series based on Marley’s new picture book Marley and the Family Band (Random House).
